April 10 TadaaahBehold! The great gallery of sketches is here!
Overly dramatic, don’t you think? But the point stays – my sketches are here. There are 17 of them, most of them are unfinished (I’m such a lazy ass that I can’t even finish them) or simply left as they were. They are not the best, because unfortunately I could scan just A4 format. Most of my works are on A3. No oil paintings as I don’t really like them.
So…
TAAADAAAH!
Go see them and let me know what you think. April 06 Murderous beautyHis father - an old bugger that he was - was directly responsible for his inner core of strength. He was hard because his father had forced him to be - with every sharp word, with every glance, with every criticism - and had learned that in order to survive, he had to be strong. He didn't recall his father ever speaking to anyone in a gentle tone; unlike She, whose voice was almost always gentle. And even when it wasn’t, it was still full of caring. She was currently sitting a few tables away, giggling softly at something one of her friends had said. He felt his lips quirk in automatic response before he forced his face back to neutrality"
She didn't seem to mind his silences that made everyone else uncomfortable and nervous. Instead, she filled them up with her words and her glances, shining her light in the empty spaces of his soul. She made part of him long for things he'd silenced long ago, and he hated that part of himself. If he got used to it, got used to her, what would happen to him when she left him empty and aching again? She had the ability to hurt him more than anyone else in his life, because she was someone he could care about, because she was someone he would miss. In fact, he already did care about her, as a friend. That was all that he could allow – a friend. And that made him wonder what would happen if he let her in completely. Would she see what he saw when he looked in the mirror? Would she see his emptiness?? Would she see the guilt that plagued him for all he’ve done? Or would she see a man who needed her? Would she see his heart beating tentatively with life, and know it’s worth?
Sometimes, he thought her small kindnesses alone would undo him - that all his shields and defenses would come undone and crumble into dust at her feet. Gods know that some already had. Each touch, each smile, each kind word; all destroyed another piece of the walls he had built up. He realized, of course, that she could be his downfall. Probably would be his downfall, if he was being honest with himself. Where brute strength had never broken him, her soft voice would. And while he hesitated to let her in, he was even more hesitant not to.
Beauty killed the beast.
Not to worry. Something survived…
Guys, be sweethearts and correct my grammar, okay? I don't mind random comments too. Big thanks’ies Aury March 12 I am so busted! There’s a man. I won’t tell his name because… just because… well… I want him only for myself. That! I know when did it started or if it even Ever started, but I’m deep in it. I’m not eating, I’m saving money, I’m going to skating hall three times a week just because of him! Am I going crazy, or is this love? Both words have, more or less, the same meaning… God save him if he changed his mind about seeing me. Now I’m going to him for sure!
It's me or we both are sooo busted? December 21 Do you believe in MagicIf, by the term 'magic' you're thinking about flying around on the latest 'Nimbus 2000' like Harry Potter, then no, there's nothing in our current view of science that supports such possibilities. On the other hand, if you're prepared to accept that there may be intricacies to nature that have yet to be fully comprehended, and that these phenomena may be somehow linked to consciousness (as is already proven with 100% certainty by Quantum Theory, and supporting experimental evidence), then we may indeed live in a universe whose capabilities resemble what we currently think of as 'magical'.
Okay, you may be thinking, “I can buy into some of this other stuff having a scientific basis, but magic? Give me a break!”
Well, if you’re thinking in terms of Harry Potter, or the lady in Bewitched twitching her nose and things floating through the air, then you’re correct of course. On the other hand, theoreticians of magic suggest a model that is remarkably consonant with the word view developed here. It goes something like this:
We already know with near 100% certainty that the world around us is largely illusory. Ergo, this illusion must be a distortion of some underlying reality. According this theory, reality is first manifest in this more primary plane (or realm of more extensive dimensionality), and only subsequently does its distorted reflection become apparent in our so-called material world. The purpose of the various magical practices, in this model, is to free up the mind so that it (or, more properly, the astral body) can cause changes in the astral plane. These changes are then reflected some time later in our material world. Obviously, such changes are rarely immediate, nor do they take the form of ‘power beams’ emanating from the business end of a magical wand. Nevertheless, practitioners insist that such changes can be wrought as a result of their ritual conjuring.
Looking at it from this perspective, the prospect does not seem nearly so absurd. We can also put a many-worlds spin on this. If, indeed, every possible eventuality is instantiated in the various world lines, magic emerges as no more than a method of navigating the practitioner’s consciousness toward a world-line consistent with his or her desires. Divination and DiagnosisIn our modern world, we usually dismiss divination, including Tarot cards and ''psychic readings,'' as only so much superstition. We fail to understand how there can be any possible link between a divination tool and the person to whom it applies.
The medical community, of course, thinks this idea is totally outrageous, and long ago simply disregarded divination as a possibility.
Why do we want to talk about divination in this issue about alternative healing? Simply because the reality in which divination makes perfect sense is the reality in which alternative healing operates. Without this discussion, many alternative healing methods would seem as improbable as the magician pulling rabbits out of a hat.
The Physics of Interconnection
All things are intimately interconnected. The human body and the human spirit are not separate from the physical reality. Yet because of our duality consciousness, our way of perceiving reality, we experience life as though we are living inside of our bodies, with the outer world being separate from us. It almost seems as though what happens in the outer world has nothing to do with us unless it directly touches our lives.
The Hindus have known for many centuries that we are not separate from the outer world ... that what happens anywhere in Reality affects everything else in Reality. In India, this perception of separation is called maya — illusion.
Now, today, NASA has discovered through science that the Hindus have been right all along. According to Edgar Mitchell, the astronaut who landed on the moon,[†] NASA has finally discovered the Unified Field Theory — the Holy Grail that science has been seeking for many decades. The Unified Field Theory resolves the anomalies that seem to exist between the Special Theory of Relativity and the theories of Quantum Physics, creating a new Theory of Everything (affectionately known by physicists as a "TOE"). This Theory of Everything simply states that the outer reality is holographic in nature. With holograms, if you take a small piece of the picture, it will contain the image of the entire hologram. And if you take a piece of that piece, the new, smaller piece will still contain the whole picture.
To say that reality is a hologram means that if you take any piece of reality, however small, you will find in this piece the image of the entire Reality -- this universe and all possible universes. And if you break another piece off of this original piece, you will still see the entire Reality.
In other words, accordiing to Mitchell, NASA has found that any object in this reality contains the image of the entire Reality, including the complete star pattern of the heavens!
Everything is interconnected. Further, Mitchell says, NASA has discovered that any object can be found not only where it is observed, but also "anywhere in time and space."
Everything is located everywhere. An ancient Chinese book, the I Ching or Book of Changes — a set of divinations written down over 5,000 years ago — says the same thing that NASA is just now discovering. According to the I Ching, all things are interconnected, and they move in predetermined cycles. The book carefully describes how random selection from a pile of 64 sticks, or the tossing of three coins, will enable the diviner to understand the state of affairs for whatever question he or she is thinking about.
Even more incredibly, the 64 changes and the 384 moving lines of the I Change have been shown to map the DNA molecule perfectly, proving that this ancient knowledge is based upon actual reality. The I Ching writings were not created at random.
So in these two instances — the modern world of NASA and the ancient world of China — we find total agreement that all things are intimately interconnected, and that what happens with anything in the reality effects everything else in the Reality. This fact is the basis of divination.
In another article is this issue, on the Aura Soma healing approach, a bottle containing two diverse liquids, one oil-based and the other water-based, are shaken. The way that the two liquids recombine after they have been shaken tells the healer what is wrong with the person to be healed.
Meditators, especially those who have been practicing for a period of years, often reach the place of simply perceiving the holographic nature of everyday reality. When this happens, no proof is required. It becomes clear through experience that the inner world of the human spirit — dreams, visions, feelings, emotions, thoughts, psychic impressions, and so on — and the outer world of the physical universe are a perfect mirror of each other. Almost any book on meditation discusses this revelation of Oneness that occurs to those who meditate long enough to achieve it.
So with this idea as our basis, let's listen to Jade Wah'oo Grigori, a Mongolian-American shaman, speak to us on ''Power Objects and Egg Doctoring.'' He will show you how an ordinary egg can both diagnose and heal. Best seen (and understood) with the single eye of your heart. December 19 The Great killer of sane itelectuality - PotterI’m a fast reader. Oh yes, that I am. I can read 3 books a day and want more, but my flaming passion is for writing. I always write or scribble something, I always have a pen and paper, I always think about writing a book, starting it and not finishing. My orientation is mystical things, unexplainable and weird happenings or horror stories. But all this is not the case… I want to talk about my friend. He was hooked up by a… fan fictional story, or rather stories. He’s a brilliant guy with the impossible mind and an insane Potter’maniac, and so it flows that this story’s main characters were A man in his late thirties and a girl of the age between 16 and 18 (Magic, just pure magic... You can alter your age…), casually called The Great Snarky-Greasy Git of Dungeons and The Insufferable-know-it all. Charming, isn’t it. You may have guessed that I was asked to read this fiction(‘You read this story or else…!!!’). So, as if I had another choice (or was simply bored), I did as told. I had some knowledge about the Potter series so it wasn’t so hard to understand the action. Just know the main facts. And… I liked the story. Amazingly enough I didn’t get bored or repulsed. It was not professional, but in the end I had to admit that the writer had a talent. The next day I told this to my friend and he was so happy that he gave me another three stories. A lethal mistake… Those three were a …disaster! But this all is not the point. The point is that some of us neglect reading and some of us love it so much that can’t live without it, like me. But there are those who fall in love with one story and are not able to see other ones. In a while it becomes a physical drug. The only thing I can do about my friend is pity him as he already stopped reading those fake and unimportant fictions and started writing them The only way out is grow out of Potter.
If you read 5 words per 60 sec. you might finish reading it overnight :P Just in case you want... http://www.fanfiction.net/s/743832/1/ Just 23 chapters (87581 words)
December 17 .The Witchcraft Trials in Salem
From June through September of 1692, nineteen men and women, all having been convicted of witchcraft, were carted to Gallows Hill, a barren slope near Salem Village, for hanging. Another man of over eighty years was pressed to death under heavy stones for refusing to submit to a trial on witchcraft charges. Hundreds of others faced accusations of witchcraft. Dozens languished in jail for months without trials. Then, almost as soon as it had begun, the hysteria that swept through Puritan Massachusetts ended. Why did this travesty of justice occur? Why did it occur in Salem? Nothing about this tragedy was inevitable. Only an unfortunate combination of an ongoing frontier war, economic conditions, congregational strife, teenage boredom, and personal jealousies can account for the spiraling accusations, trials, and executions that occurred in the spring and summer of 1692. December 05 BewareNever ever did you dream
About the evils of this realm
So wickedly dark
Their ever-fixed marks
Telling us story
Of their upcoming glory
Beware! |
